Charlotte and Ben Hollins are 19 and 22 years old when they have to raise £800,000 within a year to buy the farm and pastureland of their father's business, which until then had always been run as a tenancy. They give non-profit shares to a trust that now owns the land and from which Ben leases it for private farming.
We show the Fordhall Farm film on almost every Long Night of Farming film when the audience is desperate about the difficult situation of small farms. It always lifts the spirits.
